Green Peels

The Benefits And Treatment

What is it?

Developed by world-renowned German dermatologist, Dr. Christine Schrammek in the early 1950s, a Green Peel is a medically developed skin regeneration peel for women and men, containing only pure natural plant ingredients designed to improve the structure and appearance of the skin. Unlike other peels available, Green Peel contains no chemical additives or synthetic agents and replies purely on the effectiveness on the skin of the natural plant extracts.

Lina offers a herbal or enzyme peel, a natural treatment for Anti Aging to clients. These peels increase the blood circulation of the skin and causes the upper epidermal layers to peel off. The stimulated blood circulation intensifies metabolism and promotes healthy, more youthful-looking skin.

It is perfectly safe and has no side effects. If the herbal preparation should inadvertently come into contact with the eyes, it will not cause them to sting or water.

Treatments

After your consultation, the Green Peel is massaged into your skin, and as the massage is happening, the tiny particles increase the blood circulation and gently smooth away the outermost layers of the skin (called epidermis removal). This effect enhances the metabolism of the skin and increases both the oxygen supply to the individual cells, and the production new cells and collagen fibres.

The natural active ingredients in the peel, containing substances such as vitamins, plant hormones and enzymes, will then penetrate the skin and be absorbed within 48 hours.

Who Benefits?

Herbal Peel uses intensive active ingredients to tighten the skin, and is especially beneficial for those with particular skin issues such as:

  • Acne
  • Anti Aging
  • Skin impurities
  • Wrinkles
  • Scars
  • Pigmenation

Results can be achieved on prematurely aged skin, especially sun-damaged skin – although treatment is dependant on the avoidance of excessive sun exposure after the application of the peel.

How does the skin look after the treatment?

After the treatment…the skin may be red and slight irritation similar to a mild sunburn may be experienced.

Three to four days later…exfoliated skin begins falling away. During this time you can work normally and should not need to take time off.

On the fourth or fifth day…a follow-up treatment takes place. If necessary, the esthetician will use a rich active preparation on the new skin, which is now very absorbent. There is no redness on the resurfaced skin. The complexion is considerably improved—fresh, clear and radiant.
